Join us Monday night, June 19, for a highly interactive and entertaining screening of one of the films in the collection UNIVERSAL FACE. The film will be hosted by the South African film-maker, Guy Lieberman and its Executive Producer Moshe Tov Kreps. It will include a short, dynamic teaching on Kabbalah and rhythm / unity / diversity / creativity, followed by interactive rhythm-making. This promises to be an exciting and inspirational evening for the whole family.
UNIVERSAL FACE is a series of ten short films, each one focusing on a different theme of universal value, derived from the Kabbalistic Sefirot, or divine emanations. Each film will model Earth, the pilot production, and explore a specific Sefira or value, through traditional translations and contemporary interpretations of its qualities. A musical base track and lyrics serves as the foundation for each of the ten films which documents interviews with musicians, and various Jewish artists, activists, scholars, sages, civilians and visionaries. Spoken word, visuals and music create a montage of creative expression. For a short film trailer, please see www.universalface.org.
Guy Lieberman is an independent producer, project strategist, and global solutions networker. Guy's aim is working toward providing solutions for ethical sustainability in the world. Guy's experience spans over ten years of wide-ranging travel across the globe, including physical and cultural adventures to far-flung reaches of the Earth. He has travelled to over 33 countries and kingdoms, and has been directing and coordinating film productions, organisations, festivals, and conferences across the globe dedicated to uplifting the human spirit.
